Kelly's Comments

Three wonderful must play golf courses in and near the capital city of NZ government. I much prefer to stay in Kapiti Beach but then, I am a Scot/Irish Aussie boy used to living in the wide open spaces..

For those flying to the southern reaches of the South Island and the must visit to Christchurch and Queenstown, I do advise groups who love good wine, to make the return northern South Island Ocean Ferry Crossing to Picton then to nearby Blenheim where you will find very good NZ wines.

No need to hurry back. You can stay at the Trout Hotel in the middle of nowhere - somewhere near Blenheim - and fish the brown & rainbow in a pristine mountain stream right near your hotel door; and your hotel host will cook your fish for your dinner. What a country!
